Cookie policy
Plausible Analytics provides basic cookieless measurement. Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity may set analytics cookies according to the regional policy below. Adsterra is paused. A sitewide Google AdSense review script loads separately from optional analytics; advertising technologies may use cookies or similar identifiers.
Strictly necessary delivery
Our hosting and security infrastructure may use necessary technical storage or request signals to route traffic, mitigate abuse, and keep the service available. These functions are not used by this site to build advertising profiles.
Cookieless Plausible Analytics
Plausible sends page-view and aggregate usage events to plausible.shipsolo.io without placing analytics cookies in your browser. It operates regardless of your optional-analytics choice because it is configured for cookieless aggregate measurement.
Optional Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity
In the European Economic Area (the 27 EU countries plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, GA4 and Clarity remain off until you select “Accept all.” In other countries both load automatically without an automatic banner unless you previously rejected them. If the region is unknown or the lookup fails, both remain off pending your choice. The host determines the region using Cloudflare’s country metadata, not your language or time zone; the region endpoint does not expose your IP address. Automatic regional permission is not saved as an explicit acceptance, so the region is checked again on a later visit without a saved choice. GA4 may set first-party identifiers such as _ga; Clarity may set _clck and _clsk and record session interactions. We save only explicit optional-services choices under gk2-optional-services-v5 in local storage, session storage, and a necessary first-party preference cookie when available. The cookie has a one-year lifetime; local storage has no automatic expiry. Historical gk2-analytics-consent-v4 grants still apply only to analytics, not ad consent in opt-in regions; historical rejections prevent ads as well. A new choice replaces the historical one. If all preference storage is blocked, optional services stay off. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to change your choice for optional analytics; rejecting stops further loading, clears accessible analytics cookies, and reloads the page. This does not undo data already sent or clear all third-party cookies.
Advertising
Adsterra is paused: no Adsterra native or Social Bar scripts or placements are currently loaded. The Google AdSense account-level script loads in the head of every page, including policy pages, for site ownership verification and review. Ad requests are paused in our integration, and we have not added manual ad units. Loading this script is not evidence of Google approval or an active ad placement. Google receives technical request information such as IP address, browser/device information, page URL and referrer when the script is requested. Advertising technologies may use cookies, local storage or similar identifiers for delivery, frequency control, measurement, fraud prevention and personalization where permitted. See Google’s advertising technology information. The existing “Cookie settings” control applies to optional analytics; it does not block the sitewide AdSense review-script request and is not a Google-certified consent management platform. Before enabling Google ad requests, we will reassess disclosures and applicable consent requirements, including a Google-certified CMP where required.
Your browser controls
The optional-services choice controls optional analytics, not the Google AdSense review script; Plausible remains cookieless and separate. The review script loads on policy/support and search pages too. Ad requests remain paused in our integration. You can block or clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings, use browser tracking protection, or use a content blocker. These controls may reduce personalization or prevent an advertisement from rendering.
Recipe calculator local storage
The calculator uses localStorage, not a cookie, with the key gk2.production.notebook.v1. It saves recipe choices, target, inventory and notes automatically and reads them when you return in the same browser. This is tool storage, separate from the analytics preference and advertising. It persists until changed or removed through browser controls; no time-based expiry is set by the calculator.
Erase text in “Your crafting notes” to save an empty note. To clear the notebook, close the calculator and clear this site's local storage in browser settings; reopening creates a default notebook. Other site preferences may also be cleared. If storage is unavailable, keep a downloaded backup.
Downloaded plan backups include all notes and stored inventory. An imported JSON file is read and previewed locally, not uploaded; applying it replaces the notebook. Sharing is voluntary: a copied plan link stores a snapshot in #plan=, with notes off by default each time the share dialog opens. Notes enter a shared snapshot or checklist only when you choose to include them. Recipients and any social service you open receive the shared contents. Clearing browser storage does not revoke a shared link or delete a downloaded backup. See the privacy policy for the full tool data flow.
Search and forms
The on-site search runs in your browser against a small published-page index. It does not store your search history in local storage. The site currently has no public account, payment, comment, upload, newsletter, or contact form.
