Privacy policy
This is a static informational website. We do not offer accounts, payments, comments, uploads, or newsletters. Cookieless Plausible Analytics provides basic aggregate measurement. Additional usage measurement with Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity follows the regional analytics policy below. Adsterra is paused, and a sitewide Google AdSense review script is present as described below.
Information that may be processed
Our hosting and security providers may process standard request data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, time, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. When you email us, we receive the address and content you choose to provide.
Cookieless audience measurement
Plausible Analytics receives limited request information needed to produce aggregate statistics, such as the visited page, referring site, browser, device type, and approximate country. The analytics script is served from plausible.shipsolo.io for the site property graveyardkeeper.org. It does not set analytics cookies on this site and is not used by us for advertising profiles or cross-site behavioral tracking.
Optional analytics
With your permission in the European Economic Area (the 27 EU countries plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-VXS726TYQM) and Microsoft Clarity (project ID yccxvqiekk) to understand visits and site usage. They may receive page URL, referral, device/browser information, approximate location and interaction data; GA4 may set first-party cookies such as _ga, while Clarity may set identifiers such as _clck and _clsk and record interactions for session replay. Avoid entering sensitive information on pages being recorded. We disable Google signals and ad-personalization signals, and deny Clarity advertising storage in our configuration. In these regions, neither service loads until you select “Accept all”; selecting “Reject non-essential” leaves both off. In other countries, both load automatically without an automatic banner unless you previously rejected them. Unknown regions and failed lookups are treated as requiring consent. Our hosting provider uses Cloudflare’s country metadata to choose the policy; the region endpoint returns only the consent requirement and policy version, not your IP address. Automatic loading is not saved as explicit acceptance and is reconsidered on subsequent visits without a saved choice.
Advertising
Adsterra is paused: no Adsterra native or Social Bar scripts or placements are currently loaded. The Google AdSense account-level script loads in the head of every page, including policy pages, for site ownership verification and review. Ad requests are paused in our integration, and we have not added manual ad units. Loading this script is not evidence of Google approval or an active ad placement. Google receives technical request information such as IP address, browser/device information, page URL and referrer when the script is requested. Advertising technologies may use cookies, local storage or similar identifiers for delivery, frequency control, measurement, fraud prevention and personalization where permitted. See Google’s advertising technology information. The existing “Cookie settings” control applies to optional analytics; it does not block the sitewide AdSense review-script request and is not a Google-certified consent management platform. Before enabling Google ad requests, we will reassess disclosures and applicable consent requirements, including a Google-certified CMP where required.
Legal basis and retention
Advertising and security processing may rely on consent or other legal bases where permitted by applicable law. Provider-side diagnostic and advertising data is retained under the applicable provider policies and account settings. Hosting request logs may be retained under the hosting provider’s security and operational policies.
Your choices
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to accept or reject optional analytics, including withdrawing a previous acceptance. “Accept all” enables the optional analytics described above; “Reject non-essential” disables them. These buttons do not change the separate cookieless measurement or AdSense review-script behavior. This control does not authorize Google ads or block the separate AdSense review script. Only explicit choices are saved under gk2-optional-services-v5 in local storage, session storage, and a first-party preference cookie when available. The cookie expires after one year; local storage remains until changed or cleared. Historical gk2-analytics-consent-v4 choices retain their analytics meaning; a historical rejection also prevents ads. Making a new choice replaces the historical choice. If all preference storage is blocked, optional services stay off. The separate AdSense review script still loads sitewide. Withdrawal clears accessible analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop running scripts; it cannot undo data already sent or clear every third-party provider cookie. Plausible’s cookieless counts are separate from this choice. You can also block or clear cookies and local storage through browser settings, use browser tracking protection, or use a content blocker. These controls may prevent advertisements from loading or reduce personalization. You may exercise applicable privacy rights by using the contact route below.
Recipe calculator: saved inventory, notes and sharing
The recipe calculator saves your selected recipe, target, crafting choices, inventory and notes in this browser's localStorage under gk2.production.notebook.v1. It reads the saved notebook on opening and saves edits automatically. There is no account sync. If storage is blocked, edits may last only while the page is open; the tool shows a backup warning.
To remove a note, delete its text in “Your crafting notes”; that saves the empty note. To remove the whole notebook, close the calculator and clear this site's local storage in your browser settings. On reopening, a fresh default notebook is saved. Clearing local storage may also remove other site preferences. There is no dedicated “clear notebook” button.
“Save plan file” downloads a JSON backup including all notes and stored inventory. “Import plan file” reads the file on your device and previews it before “Use this plan” replaces the notebook; it is not uploaded to this site. Deleting browser data does not delete downloaded backups or copies already shared.
“Copy checklist,” social share links and “Copy plan link” are actions you choose. A plan link puts a snapshot and relevant inventory in the URL fragment (#plan=); notes are excluded by default each time the share dialog opens and included only if you select “Include my crafting notes.” Recipients can read the included data. The fragment is not sent in the initial HTTP request to our server, but anyone with the full link can decode it. Social share actions send their prepared checklist to the selected third-party service when you open it. Local imports and notebook saving do not themselves send your notes to us; existing analytics and advertising practices are described separately on this page.
Third-party links and ads
Official store links, announcements, and advertisements may open third-party sites governed by their own privacy policies. An advertisement is labeled “Advertisement” and does not imply that we endorse the advertiser, its claims, or its destination.
Contact and rights
Email contact@graveyardkeeper.org or use the contact page to request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent, subject to applicable law and legitimate security or record-keeping needs. Requests about data controlled independently by Google, Microsoft, Adsterra, or an advertising partner may also need to be directed to that provider.
Future changes
If account features, payments, new forms, additional advertising technology, or materially different data flows are introduced, this policy and the cookie policy will be updated and consent controls reassessed before those services are enabled where required.
