Jewelry Table Location and Unlock in Graveyard Keeper 2

Players place the Jewelry Table in the basement under the Keeper’s house, in the main area accessible directly from the hatch. Check its technology in the Theology skill tree. The location thread explicitly says you do not need to unblock another basement area to find its build area.

GUIDE CHECKED: OCTOBER 24, 2026EVIDENCE: COMMUNITY PLAYER REPORTSBUILD: NOT INDEPENDENTLY TESTED

Where to build it

  1. Check Theology first. The final reply in “Missing Jewelry Table?” specifically reminds players to unlock the technology in this skill tree. Having seen plans does not establish that the technology is learned in your save.
  2. Return to the home basement. Use the hatch into the main area, not the church, tower, or wine-making area across the river.
  3. Look in that area’s construction menu. One player says their table is next to the Writing Desk. That is a placement example, not a required adjacency or an exact fixed coordinate.
  4. Compare the material checklist below with your menu. The player replies locate the station; the historical community database supplies construction materials. Use your current menu if the two differ.

Delicate Work unlock and construction materials

Look for Delicate Work in Theology, then bring Wooden Plank ×4, Bronze Nails ×12 and Glass ×3 to the home basement construction menu. The community Jewelry Table database calls the area Writing Basement and lists Delicate Work as its unlocking technology. The community technology tree lists Delicate Work under Theology; the player thread supplies the hatch-area directions.

These are station construction materials, not technology-point costs and not ingredients for a kit. Learn the technology before checking its blueprint; building the station does not unlock every equipment recipe.

Version boundary: Materials and named recipes below are historical extracted data from a community database snapshot captured October 19, 2026, not a current-playtest verification. The snapshot does not establish the underlying game build. Compare the exact technology, ingredient names, quantities and mastery requirement with your save before spending resources; current in-game requirements take priority.

Do I need to clear a blocked basement section?

In the location thread, a player asks whether another area must be unblocked. The response is explicit: “No, it's in the main area accessible right from the hatch.” Check the home basement and Theology unlock before spending resources opening unrelated areas.

If the table still does not appear, record which construction menu you opened and whether its technology is learned. The discussion does not establish a universal quest gate or a tested fix for every missing-menu case.

Why the table matters: reported Mastery equipment

A separate “skull” discussion recommends building the Jewelry Table to make additional equippable tools that add Mastery. One detailed reply mentions a surgery-type kit and an alchemy kit that raise purple mastery; another reply also recommends equippable skill-boosting items.

This is useful if you are looking for equipment to improve surgery or alchemy rather than only jewelry. Check each item’s tooltip, affected skill and equipment slot in your current build, then compare the displayed Mastery before and after equipping it. The cited thread uses descriptive kit names; this guide does not treat them as independently verified recipe labels.

Players in that discussion connect higher mastery with easier extraction of complete body parts and also mention Inspirations. That is a reason to inspect your equipment and perks, not a promise that a kit will always yield a complete skull.

Alchemy and surgery equipment: choose a recipe

For alchemy, compare the three Alchemist kits; for surgery, compare Butcher's Kit, Surgeon's Kit and Master Surgeon's Kit against your available unlocks. The historical station record gives the following exact recipe labels, ingredients, outputs and crafting requirements. The Smithing mastery requirement is not the Mastery bonus you receive from equipping the finished tool.

  • Butcher's Kit — Bronze Detail ×2 + Leather Scroll ×1. Unlock: Skin and Bones. Smithing mastery 3; 8 ticks; 3 energy per tick. Output: 1 Butcher's Kit.
  • Starter Alchemist's Kit — Polished Bronze ×1 + Glass ×3. Unlock: Alchemy, Distillation. Smithing mastery 3; 8 ticks; 3 energy per tick. Output: 1 Starter Alchemist's Kit.
  • Alchemist's Kit — Iron Ingot ×1 + Alchemy Flasks I ×2. Unlock: Laboratory II. Smithing mastery 6; 12 ticks; 3 energy per tick. Output: 1 Alchemist's Kit.
  • Surgeon's Kit — Iron Ingot ×1 + Leather Scroll ×2. Unlock: Autopsy, Advanced. Smithing mastery 6; 12 ticks; 3 energy per tick. Output: 1 Surgeon's Kit.
  • Good Alchemist's kit — Golden ingot ×1 + Alchemy Flasks II ×1. Unlock: Alchemy, Advanced. Smithing mastery 10; 16 ticks; 3 energy per tick. Output: 1 Good Alchemist's kit.
  • Master Surgeon's Kit — Steel Ingot ×1 + Leather Scroll ×3. Unlock: Autopsy, Master. Smithing mastery 10; 16 ticks; 3 energy per tick. Output: 1 Master Surgeon's Kit.

Do not substitute Glass for Alchemy Flasks I or II, or Bronze Nails for Bronze Detail: the records name different ingredients. “Red tech points” and “Blue tech points” in the recipe cards are separate recipe fields, not the technology's research price. No numeric equipment bonus is established here. After crafting, inspect the item's skill and slot, equip it if compatible, and compare the relevant displayed Mastery before doing alchemy or surgery. The player recommendation is not a guaranteed complete-skull result.

If the table or equipment still does not work

No Jewelry Table in the build menu?
Return to the home basement's main hatch area and check that Delicate Work is learned in Theology. Do not open unrelated blocked rooms just to search for this blueprint. If the learned technology and correct menu still disagree, record your platform, version and a screenshot: neither source proves an additional universal quest gate or a reset fix.
Table built, but a kit recipe is missing?
Check that kit's own named technology above, not only Delicate Work. For example, Alchemist's Kit lists Laboratory II, while Surgeon's Kit lists Autopsy, Advanced. A station unlock is not an all-recipes unlock. If names differ in your version, use its recipe preview rather than spending on a guessed equivalent.
Recipe visible, but crafting is blocked?
Compare the exact ingredient variant and count, the displayed Smithing mastery and your energy with the current recipe. A surgery or alchemy equipment bonus is not automatically Smithing mastery. If materials are accepted but a requirement remains red, record that requirement before attempting another unlock; the historical list is a comparison checklist, not a tested fix for every disabled button.
Kit crafted, but Mastery did not change?
Check inventory versus equipped slot, the tooltip's affected skill and your before/after Mastery. Do not confuse the recipe's Smithing requirement with the equipped item's effect, or assume a higher-tier name guarantees the required surgery outcome. For an unchanged stat or failed extraction, keep the item, tooltip, perks and game version in the report; exact bonuses and guaranteed organ quality remain unverified here.
Evidence split: Player reports support the basement directions and equippable-Mastery use. The historical database supports named station and recipe fields, not present-build availability, exact equipped bonuses, technology-point costs or guaranteed extraction outcomes. Database mirrors are not independent playtests.
